The short version. We introduce you to an accounting specialist. We are not the accountants and we are not party to whatever you agree with them. Using this site means you accept that.
What this service is
Correct Advisor is a trading name of Rae Reach, the business that operates this service. Correct Advisor is an introduction service. We collect a small number of answers about your organization and use them to match you with an independent accounting or finance specialist who works with nonprofits.
We are not an accounting firm. We do not provide accounting, bookkeeping, tax, audit, legal or financial advice. Nothing on this site is advice you should act on without speaking to a qualified professional.
What we are not responsible for
The specialist we introduce you to is an independent business. Any agreement you enter into is between you and them. We are not a party to it.
We take reasonable care in who we introduce, but we do not guarantee the quality, timeliness or outcome of their work, and we are not liable for it. If something goes wrong with the work, that is a matter between you and the specialist, although we would like to know so we can stop introducing people to them.
Independence
Professional independence rules prevent the same firm from keeping your books and then auditing them. Where you need both, they are two separate firms and we introduce them separately. We will not present a single firm as able to do both for the same organization.
Cost
Being matched is free to your organization, and so is the first call. Anything you agree with the specialist after that is priced by them and paid to them.
Accuracy of what you tell us
The match depends on your answers being accurate. If you tell us something that is not correct, we may introduce you to the wrong kind of specialist, and we are not responsible for that outcome.
The content on this site
We try to keep the regulatory information on this site correct, including filing thresholds, deadlines and penalty figures. These change, and they vary by state and by organization. Do not rely on anything here as a substitute for advice about your own situation.
Availability
We do not promise this site will always be available or free of errors. We may change or withdraw it at any time.
Text message programme
If you give us your mobile number when you book, you are opting in to receive text messages from Correct Advisor about that booking. These are service messages, not marketing: a confirmation of the time you picked, a reminder before the call, and any message needed to rearrange or cancel it.
Message frequency varies, typically two to four messages per booking. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan.
Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will receive one final message confirming you have been removed, and no further messages after that. Reply HELP for help, or contact us using the details below.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not sell or share your mobile number, or your consent to be texted, with any third party for their own marketing. We pass your details only to the specialist we match you to, so that they can contact you about your enquiry.
Governing law
Correct Advisor is a trading name of Rae Reach, a business based in the United Kingdom. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, which is where we are.
That does not move you. If you are in the United States you keep every right the consumer protection law of your own state gives you, and you can bring a claim in your own local courts. Nothing on this page takes those rights away, and nothing on it asks you to travel to make a claim.
Our service is free to your organization. We do not take payment from you, so there is nothing here for you to owe or to be refunded.
