Privacy policy
The short version. We collect what you tell us on the form so we can match you to an accounting specialist and so that specialist can call you. We pass your answers to them. We do not sell your data, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Who we are
Correct Advisor is a trading name of Rae Reach, the business that operates this service. Correct Advisor connects nonprofit organizations with independent accounting and finance specialists. We are not an accounting firm. We do not keep your books, prepare your returns or perform audits. The specialist we introduce you to is a separate business and is responsible for the work they do for you.

What we collect
When you complete the form on this site we collect:
- Your name, email address and phone number
- Your organization's name and where it operates
- Your answers about which return you file, whether you have an audit requirement, and whether you have paid staff
- Anything else you choose to write in a message to us
We also collect basic technical information automatically, including your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit on this site and the advertisement or link that brought you here.
Why we collect it
- To match you. Your answers tell us which kind of specialist you need. That is the whole purpose of the form.
- To let the specialist contact you. They need your name and phone number to make the call.
- To improve the service. We look at which pages and questions people complete so we can make the process shorter.
- To meet our legal obligations. Including keeping records of consent.
Who we share it with
We share your form answers and contact details with the accounting specialist we match you to. That is the point of submitting the form, and we will not do it with anyone else for marketing purposes.
We also use service providers who process data on our behalf, including our website host, our customer relationship system, our email and text message providers, and analytics and advertising platforms. They act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.
We do not sell your personal information.
Advertising and analytics
We advertise on Meta platforms and use cookies and similar technologies to measure whether those advertisements work. This may include sharing a hashed version of your email address with the advertising platform so it can tell us that someone who saw an advertisement later completed the form. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for two years from your last contact with us, then delete them. If you become a client of a specialist we introduced, that specialist keeps their own records under their own policy, which is separate from this one.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. If you are in a state with specific privacy legislation, including California, you have the right to know what we collect, to request deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights.
To make any of these requests, email us and say what you would like us to do. We will respond within thirty days.
Text messages and calls
By submitting the form you agree that we and the specialist we match you to may contact you by phone, text message and email about your enquiry. The texts we send are service messages about your booking — a confirmation, a reminder, and anything needed to rearrange it. Message frequency varies, typically two to four messages per booking. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text message to opt out, or HELP for help.
We do not sell or share your mobile number, or your consent to be texted, with any third party for their own marketing. Your number goes only to the specialist we match you to, so that they can contact you about your enquiry.
Children
This site is for people running organizations. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under sixteen.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be flagged on the form itself.
